Hi there. I'm Mark. I'm the owner/mechanic of Cycli Gert Cycle Repair.
After 11 1/2 years as an RAF Police dog handler, serving all over the UK and around the world since 1989, I left and joined Norfolk Constabulary in 2001. I retired in June 2022 and embarked on a career in my cycling passion.
I've always ridden bikes to school or work and with that came the inevitable breakdowns and punctures. So I learned to fix them myself. I've always done it but as I've gotten older cycling became so much more important to me. My passion grew and I found myself fixing friends and family bikes.
So in 2020 I embarked on a journey to formalise what I knew into recognised qualifications with a view to being a full time cycle technician. When my days on the beat finally ended I transitioned into a full time mobile bicycle technician/mechanic.
I'm now a Cytech full Level 2 and Level 3 electronic gears, E-bike and suspension qualified cycle technician with still more to learn but a wealth of experience. I didn't realise how much I actually knew until I did the courses!
I hope you can trust me with your bike. I treat every bike as if its my own and treat my customers as I would wish to be treated.
I will be closed on Friday 10th of October and again from the 14th to the 16th October. Back open fully from the 17th October onwards. You can still book using the button below or message your query using the Contact Us box . I will reply as and when time permits.
